VideoScreen 4

The 4 VideoScreen 4 tools, VS4-Projection, VS4-Television, VS4-LED, and VS4-Blended Screen, allow users to insert models of projection screens, edge-blended screens, plasma televisions, and LED tubes and tiles into their drawings.

These powerful VideoScreen 4 tools allow users to change, among other things, configuration, layout, and dimensions - easily and on-the-fly through Vectorworks'® familiar Object Info Palette.

Through the VIDEOSCREEN 4 Image Picker dialog, all of the VideoScreen 4 tools allow users to choose and adjust screen content quickly - without the usual hassle with texture mapping.

VideoScreen 4 comes with a collection of stock projector, stand, and television symbols. As with images, in VIDEOSCREEN 4, these models and users' custom symbols are easy to manage.

All of the VideoScreen 4 tools will place various text elements with custom labels - including screen/array dimensions, projection distances, and LED module counts - some in both 2D and 3D. • Projection screens can be front or rear-projection and sizes can be infinitely defined - from 100% custom to one of several common rectangular aspects. Version 5 adds the ability to created tab-tensioned screens.
• Folding or tripod legs can be easily created - including screen dress kits with adjustable dimensions and softgoods details.
• Projectors can be placed in 2-D and 3-D space based on screen size and projector lens rating. Or, users have the option to specify a screen size and the projection distance and let VS4-Projection suggest a lens. • Side-by-side and stacked projector configurations can be created.

SoftGoods 2 is a Vectorworks® Plug-In Object that allow users to insert models of straight and curved curtains, borders, and pipe-and-drape runs in their drawings - either from-scratch or based on existing geometry.

SoftGoods 2 is a Path Plug-In Object that can create single AND multi-segment objects (straight and curved), similar to Vectorworks'® Polylines.

SoftGoods 2 models can be easily resized by dragging Control Points and making adjustments in Vectorworks'® familiar Object Info Palette.

Other things like curtain height, trim, curtain openings, panel overlap, track visibility and pleat sizing can also be changed on-the-fly.

For all SoftGoods 2 model parts, textures are automatically created and applied - including opaque drapery and scrims - in addition to applying, scaling, and positioning custom images. 2016 heralds a new relationship with Rose Brand®, allowing us to offer textures representative of theirfabrics. Staging ToolSet 2 is our set of Vectorworks® Plug-In Objects that allows users to insert models of stage sections and risers, irregularly-shaped stage pieces, "stage-style" step units, and "stage-style" ramps. The tools are called "StageDeck 2," "StagePlug 2," "StageSteps 2," and "StageRamp 2."

Staging ToolSet 2 model elements can be easily reconfigured through Vectorworks'® familiar Object Info Palette and include settings like dimensions (depth, width, radius, and height), structure (legs, fixed frame, and folding), and castor and rail inclusion.

NEW in Staging ToolSet 2.1, is StageRamp 2. Given a stage height, this tool creates ramps based on ramp floor length, actual ramp length, ramp angle, ramp rise:run ratio, or ramp grade. Even NEWER: StageRamp 2 can have a vertical bottom face and/or extended legs for doing things like placing ramps that bridge from one StageDeck 2 model to another.

Stanchion Layout creates easily-resized models of layouts of stanchions and associated belts, chains, ropes - effortlessly generating frequently
tedious to build and modify.

Many aspects of the object geometry are adjustable on-the-fly, such as stanchion base and post dimensions; belt, rope, and chain dimensions; and stanchion spacing.

All 3D model elements are automatically textured. 3D colors and textures are chosen and applied directly through a familiar "3D Options" dialog, which displays thumbnails of available textures. Several stock Textures are generated on-the-fly. The tool recognizes textures in the current drawing, as well as Vectorworks® and Spotlight® defaults.
